How Can We Treat Painful Problems Like Heel Pain/Plantar Fasciitis Online

Whilst several of our treatments are hands on, there are many treatments that can be done by yourself at home if provided with professional instruction and guidance. The most important aspect in formulating a treatment plan is establishing the correct diagnosis, of which can be determined based on your signs, symptoms and location of pain.

A typical online consultation will consist of:

  • Gathering information from you and assessment of your condition to determine the diagnosis
  • Explanation and cause of your diagnosis
  • Formulation of an in-home treatment plan (eg. shared videos on taping, exercise programs, footwear advice) to reduce pain and begin rehabilitation
  • Discussion of treatments we can provide face to face, such as Shockwave, Dry Needling and Orthotics, should you wish to proceed with an in-clinic consultation
  • In addition we may recommend items usually available within the clinic, such as specialised silicon pads and night splints, that can be sent to your home.

How Can An Online Consultation Help With Skin And Nail Issues

Although we can obviously not perform general skin and nail treatment, we can provide professional advice to establish what the problem is and therefore provide you with the correct and best advice to manage the issue.

A very common example is the confusion between whether a lump of hard skin under the foot is a Corn or a Wart. Determining the correct diagnosis is paramount as the treatment for each differs considerably. Nail conditions such as fungal nails (Onychomycosis) can also be assessed and treatments recommended. We offer an in-house treatment using light therapy called PACT and can provide an online information brochure outlining the process, should you wish to proceed with in-clinic treatment.

Once again we can also provide you with professionally supplied products, ordinarily issued during an in-clinic consultation, such as offloading silicon pads to alleviate pain until such time as you’re ready to have hands on treatment.
